Globant Launches GeneXus 18, the New SuperApps-focused Version of the Leading Low-code Platform

Montevideo - January 17, 2023 - Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technological solutions, announced the launch of GeneXus 18, a new version of the low-code platform that increases productivity and simplifies the development of applications and systems in a fast-paced digital world. This technological novelty will allow organizations of any size and industry to explore new business models and provide new experiences to their customers through elevated software architecture.

This new version of GeneXus allows for the creation of SuperApps. It also includes a MiniApps Center, where users can access a MiniApps catalog, manage authorization, and include generated SuperApps. GeneXus 18 also includes a new design system called Unanimo, which allows users to achieve consistency and coherence in all solutions created with GeneXus, as well as several functions that help to achieve high definition and coherence in web and mobile design.
GeneXus 18 generates improvements in the user experience for developers, customers, and the digital ecosystem, achieving greater adaptability. The creation of total experiences and the advantages provided by cloud-native systems—driven by effective business knowledge management and automated DevOps processes—are the key to the foundations of the latest version of GeneXus. Additionally, GeneXus 18 adds the ability to generate chatbots and includes applications of Angular 14, iOS, Android, NET, and Java.
