ABU DHABI – November 24, 2023 — Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technology solutions, today announced that it will be sponsoring Franco Colapinto, an Argentine driver, for his debut in the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2024.
With Globant’s support, Colapinto will also participate in the F2 race at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, taking place from November 24-26, 2023. On November 28, he will pilot the Williams FW45 in the official Young Driver Test, marking him as the first Argentinian to participate in an official F1 session in more than 20 years.

At only 20 years old, Franco Colapinto is a rising star in motorsports. He made a significant impact with his debut victory in Formula 4 at 15, and in 2020, he earned the title of “Rookie Champion” in the Formula Renault Eurocup. In 2021, he showcased his talents in sports cars by securing the “Rookie of the Year” title.
Last year, Franco made the leap to International Formula 3, capturing attention with a pole position in his debut qualification. He concluded the season with two wins and three podiums. In 2023, he returned to FIA F3, securing two more victories and three additional podium finishes.
