  • The regional winners of the fifth edition of the Women that Build Awards are Jinane Abounadi, Tech Executive; Margo Jordan, Tech Entrepreneur; and Evgeniya Malina, Tech Leader. 
  • Regional winners will be awarded Udemy scholarships and CoachHub licenses to access courses in technology, business, leadership, and wellness, along with trophies for recognition and a round-trip to Converge, Globant's technology signature event.

     

NEW YORK – September 13, 2024 — Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technology solutions, today announced the North America winners of Women that Build Awards 5th Edition. 

 

  • Jinane Abounadi, winner in the Tech Executive category, is the Executive Director of the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund Program, which she has built into a leading student entrepreneurship program that funds 500+ student ideas per year and supports 1,000+ aspiring entrepreneurs per year.
  • Margo Jordan, winner in the Tech Entrepreneur category, is the Founder and CEO of Enrichly, in which she has dedicated her career to transforming educational technology by prioritizing mental health and self-esteem development in youth. 
  • Evgeniya Malina, winner in the Tech Leader category, is the Head of Processes and Automation at fintech mobility platform Whizz, where she applies her more than nine years of expertise in strategy & operations, digital transformation, and product development.

The three winners were selected by an exceptional judging panel which, in the case of North America, included the participation of:

This edition, bolstered by global supporters such as AWS, AON, CoachHub, KPMG, NYSE, and Udemy, continues to elevate the prestige of the Award, which was also guaranteed by the participation and commitment of regional partners in North America, such as Argentina Texas Chamber of Commerce (ATCC), HITEC, NPower, and The Wondry. 

 

This 5th Edition garnered 2980 nominations, saw 612 candidates, received over 25,000 votes, and spanned 25 countries. Since its launch, the Award has accumulated 350K+ votes, 6.5K + candidates, garnered the support of 170+ organizations, and involved 270+ international judges.

 

Regional winners will be awarded Udemy scholarships and CoachHub licenses to access courses in technology, business, leadership, and wellness, along with trophies for recognition. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to participate and network in regional celebration events. Global winners will receive recognition at Converge, Globant's technology signature event, including a round trip to attend, and will be showcased on the iconic NYSE Billboard in Times Square in 2025.

 

In September, the deliberation for the Global Winners will take place, during which judges will evaluate the Regional Winners and select the Global Winners of the 5th edition of the Women That Build Awards. The prestigious panel of Global Judges includes: Melissa Daimler Chief Learning Officer at Udemy; Andrea Pastrana Audit Partner & Leader of DEI at KPMG & Co-Chair at Women Corporate Directors; Cassandra Seier Head of International Capital Markets at NYSE; Madeline H. Serpico, Global Chief Client Experience Officer, Enterprise Clients at AON; Marcia Weiser, Head of Partner Sales LatAm at AWS; Martín Migoya, Co-founder & CEO at Globant and Patricia Pomies, Chief Operating Officer at Globant. Global winners will be announced at Converge, Globant's technology signature event.
