SAN FRANCISCO — June 28, 2022 — Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technology solutions, today announced the launch of MagnifAI, an AI-powered test automation solution that leverages the power of artificial intelligence to improve and simplify quality assurance in complex visual testing scenarios. The tool helps businesses meet their customers' expectations for a visually perfect experience while improving quality, lowering costs, and reducing time-to-market.
The digital revolution continues to set new standards for product design. MagnifAI can be used in any industry that needs to perform product testing for quality assurance. It can scale across any software with an intuitive graphical user interface, such as streaming, content-heavy websites with visual artifacts, and most apps. For example, applied in the Gaming industry, MagnifAI can identify subtle differences – even those practically imperceptible by usual testing methodologies – between expected and generated content by automating the review of millions of visual assets. This is critically important in gaming, where one overlooked mistake can have a massive impact on the user experience.
“Today, 94% of a product’s first impression is related to visual aspects. Digital products play a pivotal role in the way people interact with the world, and their adoption has shown exponential growth. Additionally, user experiences have become more immersive,” said Guibert Englebienne, Co-founder and President Globant X. “In this context, the goal of MagnifAI is to help users deliver a high-quality visual product that meets the needs of the most demanding customers. Simultaneously, it helps quality assurance teams reduce time-consuming and complex tasks while increasing their ability to focus on advancing the overall product experience.”
“One of the biggest challenges in quality control is identifying differences between the expected and actual look and feel of a digital product. Spotting these differences is increasingly difficult at scale for humans. In addition, quality control is a time-consuming task, leading some to undervalue regression testing,” said Agustín Huerta, SVP of Studios at Globant and MagnifAI Managing Director. “In response, Globant is solving these challenges by leveraging the power of AI, as well as the company’s extensive knowledge of implementing testing automation strategies for clients across a large variety of industries.”
MagnifAI was made to take visual testing to the next level. The power of artificial intelligence allows teams to focus on what really matters by inspiring them to test smarter, not harder. The new product joins the Globant X portfolio, which is an incubator of innovation that helps productize Globant's most transformative tech into platforms. Other Globant’s X platforms are Augoor, StarMeUp, Walmeric, and Genexus.
